    Crow Party at Jeff's Place

    7 June 2025

Themed potluck party at a private residence.

Jeff is inviting ON/NO members to a Crow Party at his place. "What is a crow party", you might ask. Wear something black (but don't overdress) and bring some small shiny object to exchange with other attendees. The host will explain the rules of engagement upon arrival – but I think we all know how crows react to small shiny objects!

This is a pot luck event. Bring food to share and your own beverages (the host provides bottled water; please do not help yourself to beverages belonging to others without their consent).

Allergy alert: a cat lives at the residence.

Information: Details for the event have been provided to ON/NO members via email. If you are an ON/NO member and did not receive the email, please contact communications@onno.ca with your name, ON/NO membership number and email address so we may investigate why you are not receiving our emails. However, before doing so, we suggest you check your spam folder in case our email may have ended up there.

    Naked Canadian Gardening Day

    Naked Canadian Gardening Day

    14 June 2025

Naked Canadian Gardening Day is an unofficial holiday initiated by the Federation of Canadian Naturists (FCN) to address the concerns of Canadian naturists who felt that World Naked Gardening Day (observed on the first Saturday in May) was too early in the season for their tender plants (not to mention their tender parts) to be exposed to the weather conditions likely to prevail in Canada at that time of year. Since its inception, the event has been observed each year on the first Saturday in June; however, this year, the FCN has moved the observance to the second Saturday in June.

This year once again, those who do not have the privilege to garden au naturel in their own backyard can participate in Naked Gardening at Eagles Embrace Naturist Nest on the traditional date of the first Saturday in June.

  • - Hanlan's Naturist Beach Day
    Hanlan's Naturist Beach Day

    Hanlan's Naturist Beach Day

    21 June 2025

    Description

The Friends of Hanlan's has extended the following invitation to naturists to participate in a Naturist Beach Day at Hanlan's Point Beach located on the Toronto Islands. This is an officially nude use public beach – one of a very few in Canada.

"We're asking you to help set the tone for the summer—with your presence. The goal is simple: fill the beach with as many naked bodies as possible for one day. This is about visibility, safety, solidarity, and celebration.

"When naturists are the majority, norms are restored. Women and marginalized beachgoers feel safer. Curious newcomers feel welcome. Voyeurs are deterred.

"This is also a rare chance for the regional naturist community to gather together in a shared public space—something that rarely happens in the club-based naturist landscape in Canada. You’ll help reclaim and protect this historic beach, simply by showing up."

    Organizer: Friends of Hanlan's (friendsofhanlans@gmail.com)

    Access

Head to Hanlan's Point Docks using:

    1) Ferry ($9.11 roundtrip) from Jack Layton Ferry Terminal at the foot of Bay Street.

    2) Water taxi ($13.50 one way) from the foot of Yonge (TDOT Water Taxi, Toronto Harbour Water Taxi), York, Rees, Spadina (Tiki Taxi), or Bathurst. (Note: Since no fare is collected for the return leg of the trip on the ferry, you can take it for free on the return.)

From Hanlan's Point Docks, walk south and eventually veer right after the airport. Enter at Trail 3. The walk is about 1km/12minutes.

Washrooms, snacks, and a licenced patio are available near the road at Trail 4.

Driving down? Parking is available at multiple sites along the waterfront for $25/day.
