World Naked Gardening Day is observed each year on the first Saturday in May. This unofficial holiday was first declared by The Naturist Society in 2005. To learn more, visit the following link: World Naked Gardening Day

Should early May prove to be too early in the season for your tender plants (not to mention your tender parts) to be outside, don't despair. You can wait to do your horticultural chores au naturel on Naked Canadian Gardening Day which is observed on the first Saturday in June.

    Bowling

    11 May 2024

An afternoon of fun at the bowling alley for ON/NO members and their sponsored guests.

Our event in March proved to be such a success that we have decided to do it again. So, if you missed out the last time, you have another chance. But be advised to book early as only 40 spots are available and we expect strong demand from those who attended in March. To encourage attendance by families, this event will be free for children (maximum two children per adult).

Cost: $20 per person including shoe rental (free for children)

This event will start at 3:30 pm – one hour earlier than the one in March. Doors open at 3:00 pm and close at 3:25 pm sharp.

The venue has a licensed canteen.

    Socks and towels are required.

Pre-registration and pre-payment are required by April 26.

    After Bowling Dinner

You can also join us after the bowling for dinner. We will be making a group reservation for 6:00 pm at a nearby restaurant for those who wish to join us.

    Registration and Payment

To register, send an email to bowling@onno.ca providing your name, membership number, number of adults, and (if applicable) number of children for bowling. Also, if you will be joining us for dinner, state the number of seats required at the restaurant.

Submit your payment via Interac e-Transfer to treasurer@onno.ca.

Your registration is not final until your payment is received.

Should the event be oversubscribed, your payment will be refunded.

You can find the details on the location of the bowling alley and restaurant in the announcement which was emailed to members. If you are an ON/NO member and are not receiving our announcements, please send an email to communications@onno.ca including your name and ON/NO membership number advising us so that we may investigate why you are not receiving them.

Swim and Yoga at Pool N (no gym)

    25 May 2024

Great News: The phase of the renovation work affecting the Aerobics Studio where our yoga classes are held has been completed and thus the Aerobics Studio will be available.

Note: Due to a major renovation project at the building in which the pool is located, there will be no gym activities at this swim. There will be no access to the gym and change rooms (including saunas and steam rooms); we will access the pool directly from the lobby via a temporary entrance and disrobe on the pool deck (please bring a bag in which to store your belongings). There are showers in the pool area. Toilet facilities are located on the second floor, so it will be necessary to cover yourself when travelling between the pool and the toilets.

Wave swim for ON/NO members and their sponsored guests. ON/NO is also pleased to welcome members of other naturist clubs and organizations with whom we have reciprocal arrangements. For information on how to become a member of ON/NO, see Membership in ON/NO.

Amenities: On this occasion, the facilities available are limited to the salt water pool, hot tub and yoga room.

Swim Fee: $8 per adult, free for children

Yoga Fee: $10 per participant (for professional yoga instructor)

Payment: cash or debit at the door

Yoga: Pay for the swim and yoga when you arrive and obtain your yoga ticket (20 spots are available). Then proceed to the Aerobics Studio on the lower level where we will disrobe. Following the class, we will proceed as a group to the pool. As we will be passing through public areas of the building, you must cover yourself as we move from the Aerobics Studio to the pool.

Entry: doors open at 5:45 pm and are closed and locked at 7:15 pm after which time you will not be able to enter.
