What to Expect at ON\/NO Nude Events<\/h1>\n

Introduction<\/h2>\n

It is understandable that embarking on any new venture may make one a bit uneasy. Participating in your first nude event with dozens of other naked people is no different. However, having an advance understanding of what to expect will greatly ease your entry into this liberating lifestyle.<\/p>\n

The purpose of this article is to help make your first nude event an awesome experience!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Most ON\/NO nude events are swims held at rented pools so the details below are related to such events. Any special information concerning other events will be contained in the event announcements.<\/p>\n

When you arrive at the pool …<\/h2>\n

Your first stop will be at the reception table where club members will welcome you and check you in. They will verify your membership status, accept payment of the event admission fee, and answer any questions you may have as well as process applications for new memberships and the renewal of existing memberships. If access to the change rooms is not yet available at the time you pay your admission fee, you may be given a ticket for entry to the change rooms once they become available.<\/p>\n

Decision time … “Ladies” or “Gents”<\/h2>\n

Once all attendees from the previous swim have vacated the change rooms, you will be able to enter. It is not uncommon for this to be only a few minutes before the start time of our swim. Being a naturist event, the change rooms are mixed gender. Feel free to use either change room and don\u2019t be surprised to find men in the “Ladies” and women in the “Gents”. Get undressed, place your belongings in a locker and have a shower before proceeding to the pool deck.<\/p>\n

Newcomers may well feel uneasy about undressing in front of others. If you are experiencing such feelings, you can usually find a private spot \u2013 a change stall, a shower stall or even a toilet stall \u2013 where you can undress and wrap yourself in a towel before heading out to the pool deck.<\/p>\n

If you are still feeling “newbe jitters” about being naked in front of others, you may keep yourself wrapped in your towel. Once you see how relaxed and comfortable everyone is and how much fun everyone is having, the towel is sure to be quickly thrown aside.<\/p>\n

Don’t forget your towel<\/h2>\n

Be aware that \u2014 aside from when you are in the pool or the hot tub \u2014 it is a gross violation of naturist etiquette to fail to place a towel between you and any surface you choose to sit on.<\/p>\n

It is always acceptable to wrap yourself in a towel on the pool deck but you must be naked in the pool and hot tub. No bathing suits are permitted \u2013 after all, this is a naturist event!<\/p>\n

Respect and appreciate the pool staff<\/h2>\n

The lifeguards are always dressed and are not allowed to join us \u2018au naturel\u2019 so please do not suggest to them that they do so. Remember that there would be no swim without the presence of the lifeguards. Show your appreciation by thanking them for their willingness to work our event \u2014 but do not distract them from their duties by attempting to engage them in long conversations.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t hesitate to ask Board members or Welcome Committee volunteers for advice or assistance. You can identify them by the bracelets that they wear \u2014 blue for Board members and red for the Welcome Committee.<\/p>\n

There is now nothing left but to enjoy the experience \u2014 and wonder why it took you so long to adopt this lifestyle<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
